As Link Larkin in the original Broadway cast of Hairspray, Matthew Morrison was like the second coming of Tommy Tune. Though Morrison has gone on to TV fame as Mr. Schuester on the FOX hit Glee, the Tony nominee still has a soft spot for Broadway. On October 17, Morrison couldn’t resist the opportunity to check out the Tony-winning choreography and acclaimed ensemble over at Disney’s Newsies. After the show, Morrison made his way backstage at the Nederlander Theatre to congratulate Broadway’s latest newcomer, Corey Cott.
